I volunteered at The Almond Tree Children's Village for a year and lived with the kiddies - during this time I got to take care of babies with brain injuries, toddlers with vision impairments, teens with ADHD/AuDHD etc. Watching them thrive has given me a heart to see kids do well, and if I can contribute to that process then GREAT!
